Surge XT is fun. So are tiger sounds. And bald eagle cries. And flutes. And the vocal samples.

I had the idea of taking the vocalwriter voice and put it on top of the new version of Forever Young with Ava Max. for those of you who have the Dectalk archive folder, there is a file in the vocalwriter directory called foreveryoung, which was a cover of the original song. I had to change the tempo a little to match the tempo of the new song for the mix, separate all the vocals and background vocals needed, put it all together and we've got this mix! Note that the Vocalwriter voice can be a little quiet sometimes, which I tried to fix to no avail. Anyone who had or has the Dectalk archive folder will like this.

And now... Another one of those events I'm sure many have been waiting for, for some reason. Venture into this 10 second recording and be absolutely amazed by it's amazingness... Probably.

Today, I've teamed up with some high level mages, a slightly lower level ork and a priest to complete demon cave for this week. The sounds may get a little loud during battle, so turn it down if that's something you don't like. It sure was fun.

Many people pointed out that my microphone wasn’t the best. I never really paid too much attention, until I recorded a video myself and took a listen. It was terrible! I show a test of me speaking in front of each microphone, then wheeling my Spinny wheelie chair over to the other side of the room and saying a sentence there. You cannot hear me do this on the HP microphone, I can’t even capture that far lol. The yeti micro is a wonderful microphone for only about 90 bucks, And is small and compact and works right away with arch Linux.

This is what some Sunday mornings was like back in 2013 whenever I stayed at my grandparents house. the TV was on , and Grandma was watching her mass, and random chatter. And damn, I sounded a lot younger than I do now.

Here's another 2013 recording. It was a random recording, I just let the recorder record as I was going about my day. Back then I was only 12 years old.

I decided to sample this specific part of a song we're doing in band and make it a beat so here's what we got
This is my very first attempt at making a lofi beat. I tried to make it as short as possible, without having to drag it on for too long. Hope you enjoy. All feadback is welcome.

Sorry for the extremely glitchy audio, Retro Arch has been very weird lately. Anyways, here is me doing all the remixes back to back, in one take. No edits, no trimming, nothing. All my mistakes are here for you to witness and grovel upon. LOL Anyways, hope you enjoy.

An excerpt from a lecture on film-making by Gordy LaSure.
Baghdad, 1258. The Mongol army is days away from burning the greatest library on Earth. Enter four time-traveling nerds with strict orders: Watch. Don’t interfere. Too bad history isn’t that simple. Dr. Leila Nassar (a historian with family ties to the chaos) leads a crew of rebels, rule-followers, and idealists. Their mission seems simple: document the House of Wisdom’s destruction. But there is one problem: The scholars they’re supposed to coldly observe won’t stop being human! This is just all the episodes merged into 1. Whether you wish to re-watch, or you coming here for the first time, enjoy over 35 minutes of uninterrupted Ashes of wisdom!

Is this baby possessed?
Taken from Youtube. Here's a bit of classic. I made this remix in collaboration with my friend Adel Spence. I've always loved the music of the popular handheld Tetris game, even if I couldn't really play it due to my lack of sight. This beat primarily serves as a bit of nostalgia for those who played the games back then. Hope you enjoy.

Idk why this is even here
Taken from youtube. This beat took quite a while to produce, as I had to figure out the perfect chords and melodies that went with it. I also used some loops here and there, because why not? We all need a bit of help sometimes, therefore loops for me serve as an extra layer of spice to the mix when you can't always make them yourself. That's exactly what I did to make the beat a bit more interesting. Anyways, I can't afford to ramble on all day, so with that, please enjoy worldly fuse!

I recorded this in Florida early Saturday evening, and I was out at the lanai, which is covered so you don't get rained on. So I sat down and listened and recorded this with my Zoom H1 Essential. There was a little rumble of Thunder, but that's it. You may want to listen with headphones to hear that. It's also cool to hear the rain falling in the swimming pool water!

This is the recording of me leaving Florida to come back home to Columbus Ohio yesterday afternoon, which took off at 2:16 PM. Our flight was delayed because of a lot of the storms everyware. We were originally supposed to board there at 11:50 AM, and was delayed until 1:25 PM. But it wasn't just us that were delayed, but people that were going to Cincinnati, Montreal, Detroit and Chicago were also delayed, just to name a few. In fact, the plain that was coming to take us home also took people that were headed to Chicago home as well, so they had to stay on the plane as we left. That plain was at Saint Louis before it landed to pick us up and take us out of there. Before we could take off, we were waiting on 16 other airplanes to take off before we could, which was about a 30 minute waite. Recorded with the Zoom H1 essential.

This contains 2 episodes merged into 1; and is the final audio related to this series (unless I decide to do season 2? Inspire me!) PLEASE NOTE. If you haven't watched the earlier episode, don't watch this. Please watch the episodes in order at: https://audiopub.site/search?q=ashes+of+wisdom
Got bored so decided to make this. For context, every time you open cheat engine at April 1, it'll desplay the very same message you'll see should you click on the audio. The basic over exaggerated reaction editing was on purpose. Hope it gets a grin off your fase, at least. Kudos if you guessed the clips origin.

Since today is the day, I thought I'd share a file I made last year with Dectalk. It's based on a true story of April fools Day back in 2021. Grandma and I decided to pull a prank on my father when he came home from work.
