    I really didn't want to say this but Jeff? You have done a horrible thing today. You have made a mono low quality isolation of a book that is binaural in 3D audio. They use Dolby Atmos. This is a terrific book and you have done great shame to it. That said, If you guys love my 3D audio sound design then you are going to love these books!

    I mean if people listen to this, they won't want to buy the real thing.

    I have, and they're very good. The only thihng I was disappointed on is the guy who plays Snape really isn't cut out for it. he sounds too young and like he just doesn't care.

    @bscross32 that is litterally my only complaint too! I really didn't like their choice for snape. Everyone else was perfect, Down to the last hagrid!

    I have the first one as well. I pre-ordered all the books. I did listen to this and ... Just NO!!! If you were gonna give a demo of this, at lease cut a piece out of it in it original design and post it. There are ways of converting audible books into different formats. But, that's as far as I'll go on that subject. Lol. I agree though, Snape was not done well at all. He sounded to young, to bored, and just not in the character we all know. I mean, listen to Jim Dale's version of him, and then listen to Alan Rickman's version and see just how similar they are. They could have done something more along those lines.

    Just as a public service announcement, it's not United States only. I know that German Audible has it as well, so check for your region.

    My issue with the production is the over-use of vocal foley. There’s too much humming and sighing and breathing and grunting while the narrator is speaking and it comes off as oddly cartoonish sometimes.

    How could they get so many characters right and then just messed up on snape? I definitely agree that the voice doesn't show what the character is. The sound design is spot on though. Like, hagrid's steps and stuff. So good

    If it is the guy from the movies, probably. Idk can't really say, I just don't imagine him like that... Yeah it is because of the movies dam it.
