Description:

This is when I hijacked an Air1 station on 99.3 here in Columbus Ohio. I was playing a live DJ set from Jef Retro in Orlando playing breakbeat and trance music. I did this with my 0.5 watt FM transmitter back in April 2022. I did that because firstly and the main reason, fuck these stations, and second, it's funny lol. imagine some people driving by my house when people were listening to that shit, they wouldn't be happy about it XD. I don't have that transmitter because I bought a better 7Wat transmitter back in June. Enjoy this, or not, heheheheheheh.

whats the songs you played bro

Brycey Wicey - 12/20/2024

Not sure what the first one was, but it was a remix of an old song called supersonic, and the second one was music by Darude, I didn't keep the recording going on for long as I only wanted to show the first few minutes of me taking over the station lol.

is this going to get me arrested if I do something like this, because I saw someone on youtube take over an emty NOAA weather radio station and make a faked EAS alert test thing.

Wow, that's crazy! I don't even know where you would get a transmitter that would go on that frequency.

Just half a wat isn't gonna get you spottedr.

SweetDaddyRizz - 12/21/2024

Highly illegal, especially for NOAA Weather Radio. Avoid. 0.5 W is relatively limited though and probably won't get you in any trouble. Just don't go broadcasting EAS alerts.

what can I use an fm transmitter for? Transmitting on fm stations that are all static?

Brycey Wicey - 12/22/2024

Yes

Also, most FM transmitters can transmit on frequencies that are already in use, like the one demonstrated in this audio recording.
