Description:
In this audio recording, you will hear me talk on two modes for CB Radio, starting with the normal AM mode, and then FM. The President Randy II FCC was the first few radios with FM included. This was all recorded with the Zoom H1 essential connected to the line-in port, with the radio connected to the headphone port. You can tell that AM is shitty for audio. It wasn't like that in the previous recording, but I had the recorder connected to my Tecsun PL880. There's an improvement on FM, with it sounding better. If this hobby is relevant in the next few years, more people will start to use FM. As of now it seems like the only communications I hear are on AM, and not on FM. Hopefully there will be some handhelds that have single side band, because that would be cool! But if you would want to talk with 12 Wattes of power, the battery life would be sucked out in no time.
