      How are they not? I am transitioning to everything on cli so I can one day transition fully to linux. I'm honestly sick of all this and don't want to be at the wim of Bigcorp to decide if I'll still be able to use my tools tomorrow.

        LOL Linux. When gtk4 came out it downright completely broke accessibility for Gnome and we had to wait about a year--if not more--just to get to a reasonable level of accessibility again, because they decided they wanted to push gtk4 out right now! It's the same issues mate

          I agree linux gui is a mess, that is why I specified CLI. My future plan is emacs with some CLI integrations and speechd-el, maybe Odilia will pan out but I am not betting on that.

        It's just a newer technology that people blatantly don't know how to program good accessibility for across the board. There aren't any inherent accessibility issues with Electron though.

    I don't like it either. The way I see it. If that's all it's going to be, don't put it in the store. We can just open it in our browser manually. The app is just an extra step.

    They're fancy bookmarks, and a lot of websites have a thing in the toolbar now that say something like add app to Desktop or whatever. I use Brave.
