this is the first time I made a track in ages. Tried making RNB for the first time and I think it was my best work so far. Thoughts?

    This has a lot of potential, I'll give you an 8 out of 10. I love the rhythm, can't get enough of that 6/8 style of r&b, and the mix is clean. The little synth backing up the electric piano is my favourite part, ear candy is something I struggle a lot with in music production so cudos!
    One minor nitpick: I think I see what you're trying to do with that chord progression, experimenting with borrowing from d major into d minor. I think you should tighten up your voice leading for it to have the proper effect, otherwise it comes off as a bit spooky rather than relaxing. IF you'd like, I can try and make a small snippet to show you what I mean by voice leading, and there is a lot of content on youtube about voice leading in jazz.

      oh, the voice sounds like that because, well I don't clame to be a singer lmfao it was flat and worbley at the same time, but I wanted a melody and it was the best I could do. man I need friends who can sing lol.

    No, I mean voice leading as in a theoretical sense; nothing to do with actual voices, but how you move between chords. Voice leading is making sure that chords are the right shapes (inversions, leading tones), so the transitions feel fluid, and "as they should" to the part of our brain that interprets the music.

    I agree with rorry here. This is absolutely brilliant! I couldn't get enough of that. However when you had all those chords quickly transission and ascend, something sounded off. A bunch of those chords need some notes shifted, but other than that I do love the song.

    Quite an interesting concept, although for me it seems a bit incomplete, it's hard for me to describe it ;). It would be nice to add a pinch of humanity to it, the velocity in EPiano and other tracks doesn't move at all, but overall it's still pleasant to listen to
