I do so love doing that in reaper. accept my metronome is a custom one I made so I think it might sound a bit different. Also fun fact, I think your computers specs decide if your reaper's gonna crash or not the higher you do that. NOt exactly sure this is a fact though.

LOL, we can test it. I set BPM to 100, and hold ctrl +alt + +. My reaper crashed on 56431603.16935 play rate, so 5 643 160 316.935 BPM :D. I5 13400F, 32GB ram here ;). You can send your results and specifications, let's compare.
