This was an audio message sent to someone using iMessage and I originally wasn't going to post it anywhere but it was too good not to share.

wow your voice sounds much different than I used to remember. And loooool this chair is so funny, but mine can do a better trick, when you spin on it it makes some kind of a howling sound, and also when you lean on it it's creeky

perhaps your chair needs a depression chair therapist, we believe some assistance may be a good form of treatment for your chair's disposition, at your local office works store.
Office chair hospital, here we come!

Wow, that's uh... I mean, I've had tons of those chairs, and they all usually end up squeaking on me, but I've never heard one make that kinda sound before.

  • SweetDaddyRizz - 01/07/2025

    I have no idea.

We have never heard a chair make that noise either, what actually causes that to happen?

    It does.

No idea. Happens without anyone sitting on it too, so it's not me. The front part under the seat of the chair that's supposed to be lubricated is dry though so I'm guessing that has something to do with it.

I don't think it's a lubrication problem, almost souns like the actual spring under the center of it where you can tighten up or loosen it up depending on how easy or hard you want it to rock. I've had lots of office chairs over the years. i do rock quite a bit and I usually end up getting them squeaking real bad on either side and the metal actually starts wearing out and I have shavings all underneath it. I don't know if they just rock like on a shaft and there's some kind of bearings on either side or what but I know one thing, they wear out big time and you're left with a mess under your chair and if you keep trying to use it you'll eventually notice they'll get real sloppy, you'll have a lot of play if you lean side to side, that's how you can tell the metals literally wearing big time.
