the enter sandman's intro with reverb, chorus and delay sounds insanely sinister

Description:
there are 2 parts of this, a bit with different settings, the first is guitar on neck pickup, lots of reverb, gain on clean channel and chorus, second is guitar on middle pickup position, same thing but with a lot of 400ms delay, and not much of gain.
tell me which one you like more, if you like any at all.

The riff is great but the delay part is wrong to me, otherwise sounds very nice!

yeah will admit it sounded better to me while playing but when I listen to it standalone that clacking of the delay got pretty annoying. That was actually the first iteration of me trying to mess around with playing that riff in more effects compared to it being played completely clean like the metallica record, the quality of the first part actually shocked me slightly, it sounds, way more professional than it should be lol. If I didn't accidentally kill a few notes and make one go sharp, it would have been epic.
it's mainly trying to copy the newer style of playing enter sandman that metallica does live, like this one

I got close, but still there's something off.

I like the first one better. Delay is a bit too long on the second IMO

what guitar are you playing?
emperor-limitless - 01/08/2026
same usual same usual, can't exactly play metallica without using the metallica guitar, esp ltd snakebyte.

I like the first better myself. Sounds very very near the original for sure.
