Description:

You probably know, but there is a Wild West level in this game. What happens is that the game is so buggy that in a normal installation of it you cannot play it. To make this work, you must copy the oldwest.map that is in AppData\Roaming\Monkey Business to the game folder. And that's how you discover the best part of the game, in my opinion. remembered this when I saw the audio posted by SweetDaddyRizz

    BASED!
This is pretty charming. I like the NPC's and sound design even if there's a noticeable repeating loop in some reactions.

That's because it's a pretty old game, from 2004, so it could be better if it were made today.

I never got to this level sounds cool!

Where do you get the oldwest.map ?

Appdata/Roaming/Monkey Business. Copy this file to the game folder.

I'm not sure why but nothing is in that folder. I don't know if it is because I instaled the game on my D drive.

Try running the game first and playing the first level. If it still doesn't appear, I'll post the file.

Man I know I'm not the only one who would say this but audiogames were way better back in the day. Seems audiogames are dying a slow painful death lol

I completely agree. The problem started after the clones appeared.

I disagree. Developers looked at these older games as an opertunity to make money, maybe a full-time job. So they were more thoughtful while designing them. Nowadays, Developers clearly know that these games do not provide constant revenue, so they don't develop all that much.

It's not about that. It's about creativity, history, maintaining addiction when playing, really enjoying the game. You might actually enjoy a Chinese online game these days, but that's about it. You will play. Previously, offline games were more successful because you could spend hours playing. You could post scores, it had a good story, good cutscenes even though they were made by a single actor, it was enjoyable. Today's games, if not online, are very generic. few are saved.
