This is an extremely rough draft of the combat system in Battle of the Hunter 2. Laieh is not actually supposed to be with you at the beginning, but I kept her with you so you get a sense of how combat will work.
There is still a lot of kinks to be worked out, and you will hear a couple of debug messages here and there to indicate this is still under lots of revision, but figured you guys would like to see the progress.
Thanks goes to Claude Opus 4.5 for helping me here and there, especially fixing a lot of my spelling mistakes and making grammar corrections, as well as advising me on things that I could improve detail-wise. This, of course, also includes coding a major part of the event and combat system, which exceeds my expertise by margins.

This is a recording of the Bop it smash test mode. This is called the sound test, and it is a menu where one can scroll through every sound programmed into the game. The title says high quality, and I admit it's not the highest because I didn't use any pick up coils or anything like that, I just used voice memos to enhance the audio quality. I am getting a pick up coil soon hopefully, so I will be uploading more high quality recordings.

so for months I've been trying to understand how does slapping on the bass work, checked a lot of tutorials and asked people, but things never made sense to me, yesterday decided to go to a music store nearby, and the guitarist employee there knows how to slap, I asked him how? He showed me and I can't believe how obvious it was.
my favorite slap bassline is higher ground by the red chilly peppers, so I attempted playing it, since I'm so happy and fuzzy inside, I decided to annoy yall with that news. Lets... Kinda ignore how dead the tone is ok? LOL.

Okay so for context this is a very long recording of the Zizzle iZ toy from 2005. The test mode is only a button test but allowed for better seperations of a few sounds. The reason I mentioned my friend Stella is you can hear her at one point when I plugged him into my computed to get him to make certain exclusive to when you plug him in sounds or sounds that were better light buz or moder seperated.
