This recording was made outside my bedroom window just after midnight on August 29, 2024. You can hear the loud chirping of a cricket, as well as the typical noises of the night. An air conditioner is humming from somewhere, from time to time you can hear a soft rustling coming from different directions. Recorded using an Olympus LS-P4 and a pair of clippy EM272 microphones.

this was recorded with the Olympus VN541PC recorder. before I got that recorder back in 2018 during Christmas time, I found some files that someone else had recorded before the person seld it. She must have not knone how to remove recordings from the recorder, and she may not have had a computer. This person had a few files recorded, and this was one of them. At first I was asking the same question when I first got it. She says, "How do you use this stupid recorder"? For me the recorder was confusing at first until I got the PDF of the manual. When she said that she was hitting buttons, until she stopped it.
