this was recorded in front of our apartment while waiting for my wife Joyce and son Liam from school. the brand is ChromLives. there are 2 windscreens on the package, one is the deadcat, the other one is the foam type thing. i have them both on the recorder, but the wind still got through

        I mean it kinda depends what you do, it's a very very good start, but if it's really windy then it still kinda messes up the recording, I need to learn how to edit the stuff so it sounds better afterwards.

    aah, Ok. that is what its called. I've been looking for the fluffy kind of windscreen. I don't need a new one yet, someone had got me a set of screens and it included 2 foam versions, and the fluffy one. The foam didn't do nearly anything, and took above 10 KHZ from 0 DB, flat, to around -10 DB, very annoying. The fluffy one doesn't do that, and actually works. I'm glad I know the name of this now. Thank you.
