Sonos voice control never disappoints.
If you know, you know. This hits very hard on my friends sundowns and America Akstic PL310's. Bass heads, Rejoice!
DOesn't this file sound like him when he plays some of his voices in his skits? I was going through a folder of random ringtones and this was a thing. I thought of paul when I played this.
Hey everyone. So, earlier this summer on my trip to Europe, I was in this hotel room that had a really crazy shower. It was so weird that I actually recorded it to send to my friends because I thought it was so interesting, and I wanted to share it here on AudioPub too because it's just fascinating.
Basically, they had upgraded us to a five-star room, and this shower was pretty amazing. It was all tile with a big heavy glass door, so the acoustics in there were already amazing, as you can probably tell from the reverb.
But here's how this worked: there were two different shower heads. You had this massive rain shower head built right into the roof, and then you had this separate handheld stick wand. This wand was just a very long, thin, looking thing.
You use this single dial to control where the water went. You'd turn it one way, and it would start raining from the roof. You'd keep turning it, and it would slowly transition all the water over to the handheld stick.
The problem, or the interesting part, was right in the middle. If I turned that dial to a very specific spot, just between the two settings, the water pressure and the pipes would do something I've never heard before. It started making this incredibly loud, deep, vibrating sound.
It wasn't just a rattle or a normal pipe noise. It was a solid, super low-frequency note. It was its own subwoofer. It was so powerful the whole floor shook. At one point, as you can hear in the recording, it even sounded like it was creating harmonies with itself.
It was one of the strangest (and coolest) hotel quirks I've ever found, so I had to capture it. Hope you all find it as interesting as I did!
I have no words. If you know what this is supposed to sound like, Get ready. Because this is not your normal onestop.
I'm not sure if the video lags with it, However the audio didn't lag the way I thought it would.
This is a very old recording from when I first got my new phone. Coming from a 14 pro I expected little change in performance but I was really surprised.
Weatherman Freaks Out On Air Over Snowstorm, Yes, this is very real! I love this guy.
I'm not sure if you still can, however, back in 2023 you were able to overload the amazon echo by sending more than one voice request to it within a short timeframe while it was disconnected from the internet. I played with it for a while.
I'd love to know what this song is. This morning, I woke up to a voicemail from a weird 661 number. I like the hold music or whatever this is playing. If anyone can ID it, let me know. Its rather basic. I'm sure someones going to find a reason to complain about how I shouldn't upload this garbage or whatever but meh.
Someone sent me this a while back. I've tried to replicate it on my own flights, But have not been able to do so.
An old youtube video I found years ago. I still laugh when I listen to it. I love the sound of breaking glass!
This time, I did the wifi scan at my apartment, and I got allot more networks. Some had amazing names.
At my friend Garretts apartment, I scanned at 2 in the morning for wifi connections. I got allot of them!
Heads up, it's likely that this post is going to get removed soon, so please read below and listen to the audio as soon as you can before the admin team removes it.
So I woke up this morning to quite an aggressive email, and I'm done with being quiet about this.
First of all, let's address the larger issue. the content warnings. This isn't the first time I've uploaded something in regards to violence. But here's the thing: I've read your TOS backward and forward. It never states that there are strict limits on what to upload, and instead, it has this line about "being respectful." Let's be real for a second. The world isn't respectful. The audio clips I upload here are real events—primary source material from things that have actually happened. Are you expecting me to document reality but only the nice, sanitized parts? Should I start adding bleeps over the difficult recordings??
The last time this happened, I uploaded all three audio viewpoints from the attempted Trump assassination. My goal wasn't to get attention or be edgy. It was to provide unfiltered information. At the time, news stories were conflicting, and people didn't know what to believe. I provided the raw audio so people could hear it for themselves and make up their own minds, without a news anchor telling them how to feel. The feedback I got from people I talked to was that deleting it was a stupid move and that threatening to ban me was even worse. Yet, this is the email I got. I've held onto it for almost a year.
Subject: You have been warned on Audiopub for Disturbing Content and very Close real life vialance
Hello keoku,
You have received a warning on Audiopub. You have exactly 24 hours to get those recordings related to the assassination attempt off this platform. If they’re not deleted by then, your account will be banned permanently. The sooner the better.
Thanks,
Audiopub
No discussion, no questions, just a 24-hour ultimatum. "The sooner the better"? It sounds less like a platform admin and more like a threat. You claim you want "unrestricted respectful content," but the second something gets a little too real, you send out the enforcers. I'm honestly surprised you didn't just ban me this time. You seemed so eager to do it before.
Next. This new email talks about how I supposedly "spam upload." I want to sincerely apologize to any actual users who might be annoyed by that. That was never my intent. But for the Audiopub team to come at me the way they did? Unacceptable. A simple, polite email would have been fine. "Hey, we notice you tend to upload in large batches. For better engagement, you might want to consider spacing them out." But no. You had to come in with the "big man on campus" energy: "Hey! You have this habit you've been doing for a while now! Stop it!"
Listen, I believe in quality over quantity. Some of us have jobs, families, and complicated lives that don't revolve around a rigid content schedule. I'm not a full-time creator. I post when I find something of quality that I think is worth sharing. If I'm gone for a few weeks or months and then post several things at once, what is the actual problem? If other users don't like my content, there's a revolutionary feature called a "keyboard." They can just... keep scrolling. Everyone else seems to grasp this concept.
Finally, let's talk about your latest accusation: that I'm just ripping my uploads from other places. You say, "If they were originals, that wouldn't be an issue." First off, yes, some of my content is sourced. But you have absolutely no way of knowing what's what. Are you Cross-referencing every upload with the entire internet? I doubt it.
And what's your definition of "original" anyway? If I capture audio from a police scanner, is that not an original recording? If I spend hours editing, cleaning up, and compiling clips to make a coherent file, is my labor not original? Your definition seems conveniently flexible—you use it to make baseless accusations whenever you feel like it. It's clear you're more concerned with where you think I got the audio than the actual content, which is a complete betrayal of what this platform is supposed to be about. It's lazy, and it's unfair.
This may very well be my last post. It's clear things are heading in a direction I can't support.
Rant over. But I know I can't be the only one who has been strong-armed by the Audiopub team. Who else has gotten a threatening email over a non-issue? And I want to apologize to everyone reading this. I'm not trying to be a smartass, and I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the community. I just have to call it like I see it. This whole situation, and the way this is being handled, is just stupid and dumb. There's no other way to put it.
I don't know what it is, But Storms in North Texas are very electrifying. This was recorded with 2 Sony LV1 microphones with a D3I74 24 bit USB soundcard.
step by step
I have no words. I'm just realizing that the future of music will have no talent.
This was not edited what so ever. Its real, and it actually happened. I'm just as awestruck as you are.
This was archived from a very old VHS tape in the early 2000's. Its so cool to listen to this kind of test.
I Wanted to talk about a super niche genre I'm passionate about called deriacore. It's not something you'll find easily, you really have to go digging on platforms like SoundCloud and Bandcamp for the good stuff.
So, what is it? At its core, it's a wild mix of styles. It takes the distorted, "wall of sound" approach from shoegaze and combines it with the chaotic, fast-paced drum patterns of breakcore. The most unique part is the sampling – artists use everything from old pop songs and anime OPs to video game music (Kingdom Hearts gets a lot of love). The whole sound was really defined by Jane Remover's (fka dltzk) Dariacore album trilogy.
I've spent the last two years collecting what I feel is the best-of-the-best of this genre. It's a deep rabbit hole, so if anyone is curious and wants a curated collection to start with, let me know and I can share it.
The one time someone gets a chance to do it, do it.
Its just a question. Find out for yourself.
This immediately killed my ADHD in the best way. Everyone must try this at some point.
For those who happen to know of this song, Seeing how it was created, layer by layer is such an amazing view. I was surprised and awestruck
Think of GPT but for music! I can't explain it. Just go to https://producer.ai if you enjoy this audio clip.
