So, I was here procrastinating on my university work and decided to clone Audiopub's Git repository and make some local improvements using AI:
It is now possible to mention users in comments/audio descriptions. These will appear in the notifications tab.
The audio player and the Quickfeed have been drastically improved.
It is possible to edit descriptions/comments.
The ability to have a bio was added to the profile!
It is possible to translate the site into other languages, and audios can now have their own language settings during upload. This influences your feed, for example, if you mark in your profile which audios you want to see.
I honestly don't know how stable these additions are. I don't program for the web and I haven't checked the code. I just wanted to show what I did with the AI, and if it's useful, I can try to make a PR (Pull Request) to the project's repository.
I hope that you guys like it!
Join me as I make clips leading up to the actual day of Thanksgiving. you'll see characters, new and old, doing random things, before it hits.
P.S. Not all clips will have audio descriptions, I just decided to do some for this one for extra context.
This is not a déjavour. It's a continuation. Don't worry, I'm not going to make an album out of it. Yet. Once again, we gathered to listen to a song made with screen readers, this time from Super Mario Bros 2. Why? Because I need a job urgently, I think I'll apply to be a freelancer.

This is an immersive audio remix of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, based on the incredible dramatic reading that the LibriVox volunteers made. You can find the original public domain recording at librivox.org, and I really encourage you to check out and support their work because without them, this wouldn't exist. I'm not trying to replace their original recording, just offering a different way to experience it.
The original text is Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, published in 1847 and now in the public domain. The reading was created by LibriVox volunteers and is also in the public domain. You can find the full cast list and download the original at https://librivox.org/wuthering-heights-dramatic-reading-by-emily-bronte
This is a completely independent project, and I'm not affiliated with any of the volunteers who created the original reading. I'm just a fan building on their great work, and my hope is that this mix does justice to both their performance and to Emily Brontë's vision.
Ever since I created the Wave of the Undead campaign, I realy wanted to see it voice acted. The problem was that we really didn't have enough voice actors, and the characters didn't really have interesting voice actable dialog. However, one level stood out as being possible, Shadows Unleashed: The Lingering Darkness. this level was perfect because it consists mainly of the dark terrormonologging, and so I set out ot create a voice for the dark terror. I've cut out the preparation phases to keep things interesting, and this is the final product. I'd love to hear what you guys think of this.
The melody comes from an originally made beat called Flyest, by JF Beats. I bought the rights to the stems and compiled audio files to be used commercially, but never really paid much attention to it. Though today, I was bored. I busted out Reaper, and did my own rendition.
If you would like to listen to the original, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAh5MOp_h5Q
I was very bored yesterday and decided to make a stupid thing where this dude ran from a tyrant, then shot it down with a rocket launcher from above. It's nothing professional or carefully sound designed, just me tossing things together.
My wife uses the Google speaker to find her phone. For some time now Google has refused to recognize my voice for that feature. But it seems I've found a way to trick it.
Many of you have been curious about our office and where we made our previous recording, so we decided to record a little tour for you! In it, we introduce ourselves, show you around our workspace, and talk a bit about the objects and how everything’s set up.
We recommend using headphones to get a better sense of the space.
Hope you enjoy the tour and that it answers any questions you’ve had about our workspace!
Come right in! let us show you around. 😊

This is a group listening party with MasterJake, Maulpaul, Lazy, Tunmi13, and Superman84. Listen as we debate the Sincerity of this recording. Is it scripted, most definitely. Are they in the same room? Debatable.
