I always loved the film score work of Thomas Newman. He did the score for Finding Nemo, but the score I'm highlighting today is from The Shawshank Redemption, one of my personal favorites. There is music that plays in this movie, which you'll see here, that reminds me of walking through farmland in the fall, which is ironic, given this plays in May, and one of the tracks used is called May. But there's something about it that I love. So, I combined the two tracks you'll hear in a moment, layered a nice nature ambience over it, and, while it may not sound technically perfect, I love how it turned out, and I thought I'd share it with all of you. So please enjoy this slapdash mix I made in Goldwave.

Directions are automatically announced when you turn
F9 then C announces your coordinates in the world
F9 then A announces your pitch attitude and roll
Tones to indicate pitch and roll when they exceed a given threshold
buzzy tone in left or right ear represents roll
triangle waveform tone in center represents pitch
What's broken:
In Metric mode, speed is announced every 25mph, not every 25kph.
Sapi is working in the source code version, but broken when built with Nuitka
ToDo:
F9 then u to switch between imperial and metric mode (will not save to config file)
Timbre shift triangle waveform to indicate whether vehicle is pitching nose down or nose up
Add support for detecting low oil light
Notes:
I'm kind of at a stand still right now with the mod. There's more I'd like to do, and a lot more the BeamNG engine allows. There's plenty of things to hook onto, override, etc. in order to allow for more data. The problem is that the debug console is extremely busy, and doesn't OCR well at all. Further, to even load an extension into the game for testing requires writing a console command to the right console window. This means clicking a few buttons to switch it over to "ge" mode, which isn't doable given how information-dense the console is.
Unless I can find a way around this, there isn't much more I can do. Still, I think the mod is better than not having it.
I am back with another module again. Can someone please tell me what time signature this mod is in before it switches to 4/4?
lol its been confusing me for a while
Anyway, enjoy!
Thanks to @Xo Marianne for inspiring this post, sorry if i mispronounce things incorrectly, nvda pronounces you as Xo. But yeah, this is my talk about hugs
can't believe this is a couple years old now wtf?
.mid is just about right lmao.

Just listen to the audio file and you'll get the joke! But anyway, I started this joke and a few of my friends went along with it! If you're wondering how I got it to say that, well, I used the Dictionaries! This is very short, so, enjoy!
God, I was incredibly messed up last night. For context this is the night of the 13th of August. I was mad at other things, sick, and drunk and I got high during the recording. Hey don't look at me like that you guys. But yeah I rant on freelancing problems, subscription services, and other things. Oh yeah and by the way deus Trans is now out on all music platforms! Just search for "Deus Trans - Maulpaul" on all platforms and you'll get.
the thing you're looking for.
happyness in every step
some other thing
sorry! I just love lists now!
oh and also for some reason that hyper follow page still shows "coming soon!" I hate that!
Honestly this should have been a feature from day 1, buuut better late than never I suppose. I disabled markdown headings and images though, because headings could interfear with navigation and there's no way for a bunch of blind people to moderate images lol. Enjoy!
Heads up, it's likely that this post is going to get removed soon, so please read below and listen to the audio as soon as you can before the admin team removes it.
So I woke up this morning to quite an aggressive email, and I'm done with being quiet about this.
First of all, let's address the larger issue. the content warnings. This isn't the first time I've uploaded something in regards to violence. But here's the thing: I've read your TOS backward and forward. It never states that there are strict limits on what to upload, and instead, it has this line about "being respectful." Let's be real for a second. The world isn't respectful. The audio clips I upload here are real events—primary source material from things that have actually happened. Are you expecting me to document reality but only the nice, sanitized parts? Should I start adding bleeps over the difficult recordings??
The last time this happened, I uploaded all three audio viewpoints from the attempted Trump assassination. My goal wasn't to get attention or be edgy. It was to provide unfiltered information. At the time, news stories were conflicting, and people didn't know what to believe. I provided the raw audio so people could hear it for themselves and make up their own minds, without a news anchor telling them how to feel. The feedback I got from people I talked to was that deleting it was a stupid move and that threatening to ban me was even worse. Yet, this is the email I got. I've held onto it for almost a year.
Subject: You have been warned on Audiopub for Disturbing Content and very Close real life vialance
Hello keoku,
You have received a warning on Audiopub. You have exactly 24 hours to get those recordings related to the assassination attempt off this platform. If they’re not deleted by then, your account will be banned permanently. The sooner the better.
Thanks,
Audiopub
No discussion, no questions, just a 24-hour ultimatum. "The sooner the better"? It sounds less like a platform admin and more like a threat. You claim you want "unrestricted respectful content," but the second something gets a little too real, you send out the enforcers. I'm honestly surprised you didn't just ban me this time. You seemed so eager to do it before.
Next. This new email talks about how I supposedly "spam upload." I want to sincerely apologize to any actual users who might be annoyed by that. That was never my intent. But for the Audiopub team to come at me the way they did? Unacceptable. A simple, polite email would have been fine. "Hey, we notice you tend to upload in large batches. For better engagement, you might want to consider spacing them out." But no. You had to come in with the "big man on campus" energy: "Hey! You have this habit you've been doing for a while now! Stop it!"
Listen, I believe in quality over quantity. Some of us have jobs, families, and complicated lives that don't revolve around a rigid content schedule. I'm not a full-time creator. I post when I find something of quality that I think is worth sharing. If I'm gone for a few weeks or months and then post several things at once, what is the actual problem? If other users don't like my content, there's a revolutionary feature called a "keyboard." They can just... keep scrolling. Everyone else seems to grasp this concept.
Finally, let's talk about your latest accusation: that I'm just ripping my uploads from other places. You say, "If they were originals, that wouldn't be an issue." First off, yes, some of my content is sourced. But you have absolutely no way of knowing what's what. Are you Cross-referencing every upload with the entire internet? I doubt it.
And what's your definition of "original" anyway? If I capture audio from a police scanner, is that not an original recording? If I spend hours editing, cleaning up, and compiling clips to make a coherent file, is my labor not original? Your definition seems conveniently flexible—you use it to make baseless accusations whenever you feel like it. It's clear you're more concerned with where you think I got the audio than the actual content, which is a complete betrayal of what this platform is supposed to be about. It's lazy, and it's unfair.
This may very well be my last post. It's clear things are heading in a direction I can't support.
Rant over. But I know I can't be the only one who has been strong-armed by the Audiopub team. Who else has gotten a threatening email over a non-issue? And I want to apologize to everyone reading this. I'm not trying to be a smartass, and I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the community. I just have to call it like I see it. This whole situation, and the way this is being handled, is just stupid and dumb. There's no other way to put it.
I don't know what it is, But Storms in North Texas are very electrifying. This was recorded with 2 Sony LV1 microphones with a D3I74 24 bit USB soundcard.
This is the rocket launcher coming in Kaskade version 2.0. It's still got a few... kinks, and I think it's too overpowered, but hope you find it interesting.
A synth, and two sample generators. Note that during the synth demonstration, I forgot to show that it does support portamento, which would have been better with that pad sound.
Tonight, I went to a poetry slam, where I read one of my poems. I have another version of this that I recorded and put music to, however I wanted to show this version as it is more expressive. I also ended up coming second place, and have a spot in the state finals for the national poetry slam here in Australia.
