playing and losing branble. Repeatedly. | Played 78 times | No favorites

By velan

Despite my better judgement (what's that?), I play branble. And lose. Weren't you wondering why I hated this game so? C&C and all that fun stuff. Hopefully I don't sound too painfully corporate, loud, and/or compressed. This microphone is not in fact designed for this sort of recording...

The full version of these songs match episode 2 | Played 39 times | No favorites

Requested by @Velan.
This is the full version of the mashups between Way back home by Shaun feat. Connor Maynard and 晩餐歌(Banzanka) by Tuki. I could have done better honestly but whatever, I think this one sounds good as it is.

lmao, I tried to make a manamon like loading audio kutseen. interpret however you like, send textual cutscenes in the comments?
here's what gpt wrote.
A peaceful meadow basks in the golden glow of dawn. The air is still… until—
Three trainers step into the field, eyes burning with determination.
“Go, Charmander!”

“Let’s do this, Squirtle!”

“Bulbasaur, I choose you!”
The battle begins.
Squirtle lunges forward, releasing a surging stream of water—a direct hit! Charmander is knocked out instantly, spinning back with a cry.
The trainer clenches his fist.
"Nice shot... but it's not over."
Bulbasaur glows with radiant green energy, vines whipping through the air as a devastating attack crashes into Squirtle—one-hit KO!
The meadow falls silent again, the music slowing... then fading...
Meanwhile…
A rumble. Then—
CRACK!
Thunder splits the sky like shattered glass.
The clouds spiral, unnaturally fast.
Narrator voice:
“When the fabric of space and time tears... nothing can remain the same.”
A twisting, warping rift rips open the sky, crackling with cosmic energy.
From the vortex, a creature emerges—its cry shaking the earth.
Palkia, the Spatial Pokémon, descends in a swirl of light and distortion.
Lightning arcs behind it.
Another roar pierces the storm.
Dialga, embodiment of time, erupts from a second rift with metallic fury.
The clash of their auras ignites the heavens.
Explosions rock the horizon.
Suddenly…
A dark growl rumbles from deep within the clouds.
A ball of pure black energy begins to form... compressing...
Bijuu Dama.
A monstrous roar follows—otherworldly, furious, wrong.
“What is that thing?!”
Flames surge across the battlefield as a burning wind howls.
Music fades into a deep, ominous hum.
From the smoke, another creature steps forward...
its eyes glowing, its breath heavy, its growl... primal.
clearly, I am too board.

“This is a non-commercial cover of The Music of the Night by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Charles Hart, and Richard Stilgoe. All rights belong to their respective owners.” Or whatever I guess. I apologize for any audio weirdness, my microphone has a high pitched wine in the tune of g that I could almost be rid of with some noise cancelation and editing.

An unedited take of me reading an exerpt from my next short story. I fumble some words, sorry about that. I'm liking my narration more and more though I know I won't be able to do character voices.

Demo tape: 8 tracks (oct - dec 2024) | Played 60 times | 1 favorite

A tape I recorded demos on to through-out oct to dec 2024. It still sits in my tapedeck waiting for more demos to be recorded on to it but I just haven't bought the cables to plug the deck in to my new mixer yet. Y'all seemed to enjoy some of the last demos I shared so hopefully same applies here.

Small laser sound, delay with length so short that it turns tonal, then a bunch of Izotope Trash. What's that sound like?

Hey Joe cover | Played 32 times | No favorites

Drums and vocals are normally the two things I steal from the original tracks using a stem splitter, but deleting a Hendrix guitar part and replacing it with my own would be insane, so I just made my own much crappier guitar part, sang it myself and played the drums on the keyboard.

Welcome! This is a tour of my collection of statues and collectibles. I've for sure missed some, and this isn't even everything. I just don't have space for it all. Enjoy!

If you think I'm bad, that's okay. People who have the confidence to put their singing out there aren't always that good. Not that I like putting it out there, but I'm attempting exposure therapy, where if I just do it, I can't undo it, and then maybe I'll get better at it and not be terrified to hit the upload button on my recordings. Anyway...

I just used a basic Reaper compressor and reverb, I have no wind screen, my microphone is hand held, I did no EQ-ing or mastering. I also wasn't warmed up, and probably shouldn't have tried for the high notes, being a literal baritone. It's okay! I had fun. That's what matters, when you're singing.

Got any feedback? Think i'm awful and should never sing again? If you do, that sucks for you, because I'm self taught and I like it. But still tell me. I'll f actor it in. Maybe.

Another very early Ableton thing I made while learning. I found this really cool low-fi piano patch that sounded like someone sampling their living room piano with their laptop. Squeaking and hissing and background and everything. And that turned into this. Also using some midi transformation tools and automation and whatever. But all the instruments are stock Ableton. No third party stuff in here.
